Canvas Basics

Overview

The canvas is the heart of ZenNow. It is a Fabric.js-powered visual editor where you design your slides and information graphics. Each project can have multiple pages, and you can navigate between them using the page strip at the bottom of the canvas.

Toolbar

The left-side toolbar provides all the tools you need:

Selection Tool

Click the pointer icon to select and manipulate objects on the canvas. You can:

• Click to select a single object
• Drag to move objects
• Use corner handles to resize
• Use the rotation handle to rotate

Drawing Tool

The pencil icon enables freehand drawing. You can customize:

• Brush color -- choose any color
• Brush width -- adjust stroke thickness

Shapes

Click the shapes icon to add geometric shapes:

• Rectangle -- add rectangular boxes for content sections
• Circle -- add circular elements
• Arrow -- add directional arrows for flow diagrams

Text

Click the T icon to add text elements. Once placed, double-click to edit the text content. You can modify:

• Font size
• Font family
• Bold and italic styles
• Text color (fill)
• Border color (stroke)

Images

Click the image icon to upload images from your device directly onto the canvas.

Asset Library

Click the folder icon to open your personal asset library. Upload and manage reusable images and files.

Properties Panel

When you select an object on the canvas, a properties panel appears on the right side:

• Fill -- the background color of the object
• Stroke -- the border color
• Stroke Width -- border thickness
• Opacity -- transparency level (0-100%)
• Font Size -- text size (text objects only)
• Font Family -- font selection (text objects only)
• Border Radius -- corner rounding (rectangles only)

Multi-Page Support

ZenNow supports multi-page projects:

• Use the page strip at the bottom to see all pages
• Click the + button to add a new page
• Click a page thumbnail to switch to it
• Right-click a page for options (delete, duplicate)

Aspect Ratios

Choose the aspect ratio that fits your target platform:
